Preview Week 2024 —
With 2024 kicking off a new era for Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival, we only thought it necessary (and fun) to tease the new programming and what’s to come in 2024 and beyond with an official Preview Week! This is a week of events happening around Fredericksburg showcasing the area’s culinary and beverage innovation and elevated experiences. From food and wine pairings, a boozy brunch, family-friendly foodie passport, progressive tastings, culinary competitions and so much more, we’ve got something for everyone!

Blend It Like Becker
MONDAY, July 22nd | 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Becker Vineyards
A blending competition set at the beautiful Becker Vineyards — Learn the intricacies of blending wine among friends! You'll team up with fellow guests to craft your own blended wine and design a label for your creation. Expect wine, charcuterie and a prize for the winning team!
Taste of Texas presented by Women for WineSense

A seated educational pairing of 5 Texas wines paired with 5 mouth watering bites by the talented culinary team from Revel Catering & El Quincho.
Tacos & Tannat

A sip, taste & mingle style event featuring 3 Augusta Vin Tannat wines paired with 3 mouthwatering street tacos by Leroy’s TexMex BBQ.
Summer Garden Cocktail Class

Hill Country Herb Garden
A seated cocktail class & tasting led by herbalist, Lauren Peterson — Guests can expect 3 cocktail demos with samples, small bites + herb jars and recipes to craft infusions at home!

This is a FREE family-friendly experience —
Pick up your Flavors of Fredericksburg Passport (1 per family please) at the Fredericksburg Farmer’s Market on THURSDAY, July 18th and take it around to all of the places listed on your passport during Preview Week. Please note that all of the stops are family-friendly!
At each stop you will get a stamp and a little sample of something special to enjoy. The idea is you get to taste the flavors of Fredericksburg while learning how each item is made and how it supports local agriculture and small business!
Bring your passport to the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce once complete to claim your prize!
