The Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival is built on the people who pour and cook here in Texas. This is their record: the winemakers, chefs, pitmasters, distillers, and makers who bring the Texas Hill Country to the table each year at Restaurant Week, Preview Week, and Festival Weekend.
Many farm The Fredericksburg in the Texas Hill Country AVA, a 70,400-acre appellation of limestone and granite in Gillespie County. Others cook a few blocks from Marktplatz on Main Street. Some have returned every year for more than a decade. Meet the talent behind the glasses and the plates, and the wineries and restaurants that stand behind them.

The Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival is produced by the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce Events Foundation Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1991. The Grand Tasting takes place at Marktplatz, 126 W. Main Street, Fredericksburg, Texas. Proceeds support culinary, wine, and agricultural programs across the Hill Country.
